Simply Delightful
44" by 60" Simply Delightful is covered with Happy Blossoms of Spring and Summer. The applique is done with hand dyed wools, blanket stitched to traditional quilting cottons. It makes for a very lovely wall hanging to brighten your home with Spring and Summer blooms all year long.
I found these beautiful hand dyed wools while at the AQS show in Des Moines. I'd never considered working with wool before. They were so lovely and vibrant I just had to use them in a quilt. Try them and you will know what I mean. God blessed me with a verse in Scripture the describes it perfectly, "She looks for wool and flax and works with her hands in delight!" Proverbs 31:13
