70" Square

In this quilt I've highlighted many of My Favorite Things.  The embroidered center is from an heirloom tablecloth.  At the corners of the center medallion are Yo Yo's, or as Aunt Marguaret calls them, powder puffs.  With a yellow button at their center, they look like happy little pink posies.  The outer border looks like a profusion of colorful scalloped ice cream cones.

 

The center scalloped circle of this quilt is appliqued to the borders.  I have positioned it to use the quilt on-point as a throw on my bed.  During construction, you simply position the circle as you like to make a traditional square medallion centered quilt or on-point as I have done.  It is up to you.
