Designs in the Morning

Over the years I've gathered and collected vintage hankies and embroidered textiles.  It all started with my Mom and her lovely floral hankies and a Hankie quilt I made with them.  I have been collecting and quilting ever since.  One recent morning I woke up with this design which would incorporate my hankies with a set of embroidered dishtowels I'd picked up along with a large embroidered piece that honored a woman in her garden.  I only had one problem, there were eight squares and only seven days of the week.  The passage from Proverbs 31 describing the godly woman immediately came to mind and my quilt design was complete.
